199th debate
The Sentinel covered the candidate debate last night for the 199th State House race. I was unable to attend, but did get some feedback from people in attendance. The Sentinel actually did a decent job of covering the story, although it sounds like they missed a few quotes, but nothing major.
I’d be curious to hear some feedback from anyone who was in attendence at the debate. All comments are welcome.

I’ll be the first one to admit that being too polished is a bad thing, but the scene last night couldn’t have been more different. Maybe no one else noticed? Who knows, but to me, it seemed like Santorum/Casey on a microcosmic scale. Rep. Gabig was confident in the achievements that he listed while Bill Cobb chose to point out a flawed system, all while chewing on some gum. To me, a debate says a lot and when you spend an hour complaining about the system instead of explaining how you’ll change it, there isn’t much difference between me and you.
